Working with our team in Calgary, Alex is a senior project manager responsible for overseeing medium to large capital projects from the early design concept, through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and turn over to operations.
Alex is known for his extensive industrial experience executing projects in a way that maximizes value to clients. In his position, he is responsible for liaising between the Stantec engineering team and the client, overseeing engineering design to meet scope and schedule, and ensuring the budget and milestones are met within a small margin of error. Alex is passionate about managing high value engineering projects that require seasoned handling of large teams—his goal is to always meet exacting engineering standards while keeping cost and schedule at the forefront.
Outside of work, Alex is an avid water skier—he’s on the water usually about 60 to 90 times a summer. He’s also very involved with his church and is part of their technical team that works to provide services online.
