Paul has more than 30 years of experience on a wide range of transport planning and traffic engineering projects. Much of his current focus is on active transport projects, urban design, and streetscape upgrades—Paul’s goal is to improve the safety, amenity, and connectivity of walking and cycling networks, ultimately creating more people-friendly streets.
Complementing his recent focus on active transport, Paul’s wide-ranging background in transport planning and engineering gives him a solid foundation to develop integrated transport outcomes. Combining his transport planning and traffic engineering knowledge, Paul has been implementing traffic management studies into local area transport plans that consider opportunities to improve local streets for all users not just to slowing traffic. The result? Better outcomes that respond to the needs of the local government client and the wider community.
In his spare time, Paul spends time with his family and had been involved with competitive athletics for almost 40 years.
