With more than 15 years of diversified experience in hydroelectric developments, Katarzyna has been immersed in the full spectrum of engineering activities, from project planning and front-line engineering to construction support and project management, for new and rehabilitated hydro and dam projects. She has worked as a prospecting planner, integrator, and engineering manager.
Katarzyna enjoys the planning and early engineering stages for pumped storage and hydro and dam projects. She counts her experience on the Eagle Mountain Pumped Storage Project as particularly memorable. She led and unified a team of over 60 members representing underground and surface mining, hydro and dam, and environmental sectors to deliver quality technical services while managing early involvement with the general contractor and aligning with the client's expectations.
When she isn’t busy with hydro and dam projects, you’ll find Katarzyna running along trails and through mountains or competing in ultramarathons. She loves ultrarunning because it offers her a unique vantage point and opportunity to step back, realign, and recharge her batteries while challenging her resolve, grit, and limits.
