After three decades with the business, he balances his time between leadership and technical responsibilities within the transportation sector. He’s a passionate supporter of the energy, enthusiasm, and great work we bring to our clients. Witnessing the outcomes of projects—knowing he and his team played a part in making them happen—is what he finds most rewarding.
As a trusted advisor, Mark has contributed to many successful projects. From earlier in this career, he is particularly proud of his involvement in the traffic and pedestrian planning and design of Sky Stadium in Wellington, which contributed to successful resource consent after its previous failure. Additionally, Mark’s work on a cycling strategy for Napier City Council has since provided the framework for Council’s substantial investment in the city’s cycling infrastructure.
While getting used to an empty nest, Mark is enjoying a change in pace outside of work.
