With a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Galway, Ger is a chartered engineer and a fellow of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland. He has over 40 years of industry experience with involvement primarily in water services, which includes the design and delivery of major water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure projects.
Ger is currently responsible for leading strategic plan delivery and operations management in the Republic of Ireland. He centers his professional philosophy around providing practical, sustainable engineering solutions, strong contract and project governance, and fostering innovation in water services. He is committed to problem‑solving, clear communication, collaboration, and delivering resilient infrastructure that supports communities and the environment.
