As director of water resources for Asia Pacific, Grant’s focus is the management and uses of upstream water resources. The scope of his work often impacts his clients' communities in critical areas. Through his work, he directly improves water availability, security, safety and reliability for local and global communities, facilitates energy transition to renewables, and aids in disaster mitigation. He's driven by seeing projects go from concept to a completed piece of infrastructure. Put simply, his reward is seeing ideas get built.
An expert in pumped hydro-energy storage, irrigation, flood risk management, and water resource dams and hydropower, he often acts as the project director and manager for large infrastructure projects—for example, the Snowy 2.0 Pumped Hydropower and Central Plains Water Enhancement, or further afield, the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Study and River Tolka flood alleviation works.
Grant is passionate about the outdoors and loves that his children also share this passion.
