Even with the last name “Gold,” Greg never felt like he was predestined for a career in mining, and he’s proud to play a role providing his engineering expertise to the industry. He is a mining engineer with 24 years of hands-on technical, financial, and operational experience in project design, construction, development, and operation. Greg feels this breadth of experience allows him to see the big picture, providing clients with the best service and expertise possible.
He is an advocate for the industry, with an appreciation for mining’s role in providing vital materials needed to enhance sustainability, such as the elements required for electrification. Greg believes mining has an important role for local, national, and global economic opportunity—when it is done the right way—with respect for the environment and traditional landowners.
When he isn’t working, you might find Greg mountain-biking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, golfing, hunting, or fishing. He’s drawn to anything that gets him outside!
