Growing up on lakes and rivers in Northern Ontario, Colin has always felt a connection to the water. As an Environmental Engineer, Colin focuses on design and construction administration for large and complex projects that manage wastewater overflows. By contributing to these projects, Colin helps keep the water and community he loves clean.
Colin has led the civil and process design as well as the coordination of the overall design for the City of Ottawa’s second largest linear project, the Combined Sewage Storage Tunnel. This award winning project features two interconnected tunnels spanning 6.6 kilometres and are designed to reduce the combined sewer overflows into the Ottawa River. Colin was also the construction contract administrator for this project which was fully commissioned in 2021.
