Senior Engineer

Photo of Harry

A senior geohazard and geomorphological engineer, Harry specializes in karst geomorphology, geological hazards, and ground instability associated with natural and man-made cavities in chalk and other karstic environments. Primarily, he provides consultancy in relation to desk and field-based land stability assessments, as well as data analysis using three-dimensional geological modelling. Harry also has experience in a wide range of ground investigation techniques, soil and rock logging, and remedial ground stabilization.

As the lead of our natural and mining cavities database, Cavity Aspect, Harry manages client enquiries and oversees the preparation of interpretive Cavities Occurrence Assessments and hazard zoning plans. He also undertakes research to continually update the database and is spearheading the innovation of the service into geographic information systems (GIS).

When he isn’t deciphering the disposition of our subterranean world, Harry can be found in full-dad mode, doing anything and everything possible to entertain his two young children, or enjoying some personal time playing football, running, or gardening.
