A chartered engineer, Laura has experience delivering water related projects that vary in size and nature and include drainage, flooding, and roads projects from feasibility stages and through outline and detailed design. She currently serves as a senior engineer supporting the detailed design development of upgrades to the Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW).
Laura’s duties have included interpretation of client briefs, design, design coordination and review, contract documentation and administration, and costing and finance management. She has also prepared of health and safety documentation, acted as a statutory liaison, and facilitated stakeholder engagement.
When she isn’t busy delivering her latest water related project, Laura is a wellbeing representative for our Belfast office, actively encouraging her colleagues to look after their physical and mental health. She also enjoys cooking and is a keen baker who loves baking for family, friends, and colleagues!
