With an ever-greater emphasis on land restoration and remediation, a desire for native plant species in new landscaping, and the knowledge that plants can provide a means of carbon sequestration, Tyler knows his role as plant nursery production manager is a growing concern. Well-rounded in research, production, sales, and management, Tyler supports the operation from top to bottom.
Located in Walkerton, IN, our Native Plant Nursery stocks more than 350 varieties of native plants and seeds. Tyler relies on his more than 10 years’ experience in agriculture and horticulture to keep these stocks healthy and available for projects across the US. He applies his knowledge to creating plans and schedules for watering, fertilizing, and integrated pest management (IPM) that maximize growth and resilience. While invasive plant species have changed many landscapes, Tyler believes we can change things back, one plant at a time.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys being outside with his family, pursuing activities such as camping, mountain biking, and hiking.
