As a coastal engineering specialist, Christine is responsible for project-related technical tasks. That means conducting, presenting, and writing on coastal analyses. Her work in recent years has mostly focused on FEMA-related coastal and riverine projects. She’s accompanied several coastal studies through each phase of their process.
Besides her experience in storm surge and nearshore wave modeling, Christine is getting more and more involved in traditional coastal projects, from rock sizing for break waters to living shoreline projects and analyzing beach and shoreline change for a beach preservation plan as well as shoreline protection projects.
A high-intensity interval training (HIIT) enthusiast (in a team-based environment), Christine’s race goal this year is the Chicago Marathon. She also has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle overall.
