Sustainability has been a passion for Ellie since she was a child. While pursuing her engineering degree, she was inspired to focus on how she could make a positive impact through work on buildings, particularly in tackling the ongoing challenge of reducing the amount of carbon they contain and produce.
As an associate director and North West regional discipline lead for buildings MEP engineering and sustainability, Ellie oversees the design delivery of multidisciplinary engineering services for projects across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and logistics. She is recognized for her astute communication, bringing this dedication to clients, design teams, and contractors in a way that is accessible and meaningful to them. She is passionate about diversity of thought, in teams and in design, believing that our global challenges are vast, and we must tackle them together.
Outside of work, Ellie loves hiking, cycling, yoga, and spending time with family and friends, often involving food, music, and the occasional (often soggy) festival.
