Building on a background in economics and energy financing, and a passion for helping to create a more sustainable tomorrow, Alexandros leads the business development team of our Belgium operations. He is well versed in both the creation and management of international development and donor-funded projects in the infrastructure sector.
During his career, Alexandros has played a key role in numerous energy projects (wind, solar and hydro) across sub-Saharan Africa. He has extensive experience in monitoring and evaluating achievements and expected results and in analyzing qualitative and quantitative energy data from various sources. Alexandros’ in-country experience has also allowed him to develop an understanding of the local realities faced in these communities—something that enables him to see the small critical steps needed to be taken in order to achieve widespread sustainable results.
In his free time, Alexandros likes to manage his own energy by hitting the gym, and you can often find him playing a friendly game of pick-up basketball.
