Building on a background in economics and a passion for helping to create a more sustainable tomorrow, Alexandros he acts as our in-house energy finance consultant. He is well versed on both the project creation and project management sides of things and uses keen attention to detail to actualize European Union-funded projects in the infrastructure sector.
During his career, Alexandros has played a key role in numerous energy projects (wind, solar and hydro) across sub-Saharan Africa. He has extensive experience in monitoring and evaluating achievements and expected results and in analyzing qualitative and quantitative energy data from various sources. Alexandros’ in-country experience has also allowed him to develop an understanding of the local realities faced in these communities—something that enables him to see the small critical steps needed to be taken in order to achieve widespread sustainable results.
In his free time, Alexandros likes to manage his own energy by hitting the gym, and you can often find him playing a friendly game of pick-up basketball.
