Tushar learned critical thinking, the value of sharing ideas, and social responsibility growing up in a household with an engineer and a liberal arts teacher. From this, he developed the belief that design has the power to uplift a person’s healthcare journey and has dedicated his career to creating empathetic and life-enhancing environments.
As a sector leader, Tushar empowers and enables our teams to advance healthcare worldwide through the power of design, evidence-based expertise, innovation informed by research, and technical rigor. This dedication extends outside the office. He’s served on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) - Academy of Architecture for Health’s board of directors and as president. For his remarkable contributions to architecture and society, the AIA elevated him to their College of Fellows. Texas A&M’s College of Architecture recognized his work with their Outstanding Alumni Award. He also recently received the Architect of the Year from the American Society of Indian Engineers and Architects (ASIE).
When he isn’t busy leading designs for healthcare projects, Tushar is an avid tennis dad of twin boys, a foodie, a bass player, and an aspirant golfer.
