Based in Whitehorse, Yukon, Martin has more than two decades of experience in the impact assessment and regulatory field North of 60, including in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. He brings his total self to work, applying his diverse background to assessment and permitting efforts. He considers his core purpose to be facilitating good decision-making, particularly in resource management. With his ability to look at the big picture and bring people together, he brings value to big and small projects.

Martin has managed impact assessments ranging from three drill hole mineral exploration programs to major mines and from small seismic programs to the basin-opening Mackenzie Gas Project. When he isn’t working, Martin is likely on the local trails with his dogs or carrying out his duties as deputy fire chief for the Carcross Volunteer Fire Department.
