As a senior associate with our water resources engineering group, Alex has 22 years of experience in national flood insurance, stormwater management, land development design, hydrology, and hydraulics. In his position, he supervises and provides technical guidance to engineering, scientific, and technical staff, and coordinates with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Alex’s specialty lies in water resources engineering. He has experience in floodplain studies and mapping, stream restoration, hydrology and hydraulics, environmental engineering, project/program management, computer modeling, proposal preparation, technical writing and research. Alex has published and presented several papers and conducted multiple workshops for the ASFPM, FMA and other State Conferences and organizations.
Outside of work, Alex participates in educating kids about environmental engineering and sustainability at the Chesepeake math, science and technology (CMIT) school close to his office.
