Brett is a senior traffic engineer who has extensive experience working with the South Carolina Department of Transportation, where he previously served as a state safety engineer responsible for directing the highway safety office. He is well-versed in traffic and safety engineering studies, crash data prediction and analyses, and road safety assessments and recommendations.
Brett’s motto is just because someone makes a mistake on the highway, it shouldn’t cost them their life. He believes that all people have the right to safe mobility in support of the target of the vision zero strategy, which acknowledges that even one death on our transportation system is unacceptable.
When not at work, Brett can be found traveling with family and visiting National Parks across the United States and Canada. He also enjoys the occasional round of golf with friends and mountain biking.
