With over 25 years of experience in building services engineering, Barbara works on healthcare and other complex projects across the UK and Europe. Her expertise covers mechanical building services design, and she has led multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion and handover.
Throughout much of her career, Barbara has focused on healthcare environments including operating theaters, isolation facilities, specialist clinical spaces, and hospital refurbishments. She works closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to develop practical engineering solutions that meet the needs of users and other key parties.
Alongside her project work, Barbara mentors engineers and values knowledge sharing and a collaborative approach to project delivery. She is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM) and is committed to quality, safety, and effective engineering design.
