Ashton brings his experience with renewable energy and power delivery projects to his role managing routing and siting projects and natural resources environmental permitting projects. He leads and coordinates all aspects of utility projects from early-stage proposal, through the routing and siting, permitting, public involvement, state certification, and pre-construction phases. He manages interdisciplinary teams, engages with interested parties, and supports regulatory compliance.
Prior to serving as a project manager, Ashton worked on the regulatory side for the Ohio Power Siting Board as a utilities specialist, helping large-scale utility projects in Ohio comply with regulations. These projects included electric transmission lines, natural gas pipelines, power plants, and battery energy storage system (BESS) and renewable energy facilities.
When he isn’t working on power delivery projects, Ashton enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. They like doing things together as a family—traveling, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and rooting for their favorite football and soccer teams.
