With more than 30 years of experience and a passion for fish and the places they live, Brad has built a career focused on understanding and protecting aquatic environments. As one of our senior fish biologists, he helps connect biologists across the country with emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and opportunities to advance their work. He also mentors developing professionals and provides clients with strategic guidance on environmental assessment, permitting, mitigation, monitoring, and Fisheries Act offsetting requirements.
Brad has expertise in fish and aquatic habitat assessments, environmental effects monitoring, restoration planning, and regulatory approvals. He works closely with clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and project teams to balance environmental considerations with responsible development. Known for his collaborative approach, Brad helps develop practical solutions for complex projects, particularly those involving Fisheries Act authorizations and offsetting plans.
Outside of work, Brad enjoys hiking in the mountains around Vancouver with his wife, cycling, following his adult children's lives, and playing old-timers hockey and golf.
