Shelley has over a decade of experience in performing transmission siting and permitting and renewable permitting across the US Southwest, Midwest, and East. Her work has included routing electric transmission lines and siting transmission and distribution substation projects.
An environmental specialist and transmission siting project manager, Shelley specializes in energy project development. This includes risk analysis, data collection, constraints analysis, siting studies and reporting, natural resource assessments, outreach, and permitting. She also oversees agency coordination for local permitting and state regulatory and Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) filings. Working closely with clients and other parties, she helps them understand and balance often competing technical aspects, regulatory requirements, and environmental and social constraints that influence the siting and permitting processes and come to defensible siting decisions.
Away from work, Shelley enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and running a neighborhood exercise club.
