The office leader for our Markham, Ontario, office for the past 10 years, Ron serves as an administrator, spokesperson, and business collaborator. He’s also the regional business leader for our Geotechnical Engineering teams in Canada East, overseeing business performance within the region. He has over 34 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, and he’s provided senior engineering, review, and consulting services for over 1,000 Stantec projects.
His technical experience has included the management of geotechnical work on a wide variety of projects, from the commercial, industrial buildings, healthcare, and community development sectors to the midstream and downstream oil and gas, power and energy, roadways, rail, and water sectors. He’s an expert on deep and shallow foundations, geosynthetic applications, dynamically compacted fills, slope stability, and trenchless technology. The projects that he is most proud of have been his riverbank restoration projects within his Greater Toronto Area community.
Outside of work though, his true passion (beyond family and friends) is walking and hiking while travelling with his spouse.
