Josh’s mission is to help our clients prevent the worst case scenario from happening in times of crisis. As a leader in our disaster management and resilience practice, Josh brings expertise in the fields of hazard mitigation planning, resilience planning, recovery planning, Geographic Information System (GIS) assessment modeling, hazard research, and community engagement.
His direct work experience includes a roster of multi-disciplinary clients where he created resilience for their processes and communities. This has included the creation of plans, policies, assessments, and systems for natural and man-made hazards, economic development, and public/private health.
Before joining Stantec, Josh helped facilitate the formation of the Center for Hazards Research and policy Development at the University of Louisville. He’s spoken about disaster management and resilience across the world.
