In her eight years of experience, Sanaz has worked on a range of projects in the areas of stormwater management, water quality modeling, machine learning, remote sensing, and geographical information system (GIS) analysis. Her international experience and advocacy for a sustainable future keeps Sanaz laser focused on the positive impacts her projects can have on communities.
While Sanaz’s innovative capabilities are complex, her goal remains the same—to fulfill the needs of the client and the community. She has supported various project teams including consent decree projects in Miami-Dade County, a mixing zone study for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, and the 10-year water supply facilities work plan update for the City of Sunrise and the Town of Davie.
Sanaz serves as the vice-chair and the elected member of Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) technical committees including the Remote Sensing Applications for TMDL Modeling Committee and the TMDL Analysis and Modeling Task Committee. When she isn’t training on innovative technology, such as NASA’s Earth observations, she enjoys spending time with her family.
