His experience includes traffic impact assessments, transport assessment reports, traffic and crash data analysis, road safety audits, active transportation surveys, and business case support.
Alexander enjoys solving complex transportation challenges and believes good transportation planning plays a vital role in connecting people, places, and opportunities while supporting sustainable growth. One project he is particularly passionate about is the South East Queensland Transit Signal Priority initiative, which is exploring how technology can improve bus operations and network performance without the need for major infrastructure investment.
Outside of work, Alexander is a keen sportsman who spends most weekends chasing a personal best or convincing himself that the latest equipment upgrade is absolutely necessary. He is also an Excel enthusiast who represented New Zealand at the Microsoft Office Championship, placing eighth globally.
