Based in Christchurch, Richard coordinates Stantec’s land development projects and related strategies and drives our growth in this sector across New Zealand.
Delivering numerous civil engineering projects over the past 20 years, Richard brings his best to all that he does. He pulls experience, skills, and learnings from his previous work and adapts it to meet a client’s specific needs. Richard understands the multidisciplinary approach required, working closely with clients across the full project lifecycle.
A recent highlight of his was the High-Level Asset Study in Palmerston North for Kāinga Ora. Together with his team, Richard prepared a proposal during lockdown which added additional challenges. His team were then able to successfully carry out the project, opening doors for additional studies and design work across New Zealand.
Outside work he can be found on either side of the football field—out playing or cheering on Nottingham Forest Football Club.
