Senior Project Manager

If you ask what led Brandon to an ocean-focused career, he’d say that it began by watching too many documentaries as a child. Getting to the Gulf coast for college confirmed what he knew—that he’d always live and work by the sea. Now, he has over two decades of experience in fisheries science, aquatic ecology, and water quality issues, with extensive experience in regulatory and technical issues affecting the power industry and other large water users.

Brandon specializes in threatened and endangered species impact evaluations, source water characterizations, policy analysis, and compliance strategy development. He develops and manages the multitude of rapidly growing opportunities related to the U.S. Clean Water Act 316(b) regulation update that impacts many large-scale users of surface waters. Over the last few years he’s been working on projects for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, where he lives, and finds it’s rewarding to support and participate in projects that affect his community.

When he’s not working with the ocean, Brandon’s enjoying it—surfing, scuba diving, and spearfishing. But his favorite thing to do is to spend time with his two daughters at gymnastic meets or softball tournaments, watching them compete.
