Working with our global mining team out of our Phoenix, Arizona office, Debra is collaboratively engaging with mining companies to achieve and exceed their environment, social and governance (ESG), carbon neutrality and net zero goals. She proactively leverages her extensive experience and the high-quality solutions from across Stantec to advance Triple Bottom Line mining initiatives and drive scaled innovation. Her goal? To address mining's sustainability issues using novel ways of thinking about power, water, energy transition, and mine design.
As an award-winning global leader, Debra brings a unique understanding of how to achieve scaled adoption of innovation in industrial sectors. Operating at the intersection of ESG, digital, and innovation with a strategic mindset, she helps teams distill and harness complexity with an agile approach to solving problems and creating action plans, connecting new ideas, tools, and processes.
When she’s not working, Debra enjoys hiking and walking with her goldendoodle, as well as traveling or skiing in Telluride.
