As a leader in our global Water practice, Joe brings more than 38 years of experience to the development and implementation of effective solutions for his clients and their challenges. Joe is currently responsible for leading a multi-firm team charged with designing and managing the delivery of a new 65-mile (105-kilometre) long regional water transmission system for the City of Joliet, Illinois. This system will bring treated Lake Michigan water from the City of Chicago to nearly 300,000 residents impacted by declining groundwater levels.

During his career, Joe has served as a program manager, project manager, project technical lead, or senior reviewer for projects ranging in size from small drainage studies to comprehensive master plans and major infrastructure design projects in various parts of the United States and overseas (Venezuela, Panama, Jordan, Israel, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia). He has specialized experience in the development, calibration, and application of hydraulic models for water, wastewater, and stormwater master planning efforts.

Joe frequently serves as a technical liaison to client staff, elected officials, and the public, working to communicate project information in a clear, understandable fashion that helps inform discussions and facilitate decision-making. Joe is a registered professional engineer in Illinois and a certified project management professional.
