As a vice president in the buildings engineering group, Dean oversees client management and quality control for engineering projects. He is vitally involved in current projects offering project management, contract and financial administration, high level design support, technical specialization, and peer review. He oversees the healthcare and commercial sectors. He has been an electrical engineer for over 25 years.
His technical specialties include building lighting, power, structured cabling, data and call centers, IT and wireless, system integration, and security systems. He has completed 1000s of projects participating in all aspects of a project from conceptual planning to schematic and detailed design to construction. He has worked on several large P3 projects including the RCMP E-Division Headquarters in Surrey and the Kelowna and Vernon Hospitals project. Other recent projects he has completed include the Vancouver Olympics Whistler Sliding Centre, Nanaimo Regional General Hospital new Emergency Department, Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, and several Target stores now opening all across Alberta.
