Kris has always enjoyed finding practical solutions to problems. Growing up in Windsor, Ontario, Kris spent time studying math, physics, and mechanics at the local library overlooking the Ambassador Bridge, a choice that foreshadowed his future career. Now with over 15 years of experience under his belt, Kris is the bridge discipline lead in our Calgary office. In this role, Kris is responsible for the quality of our Calgary bridge engineering projects. He relishes the challenge of managing a team of up-and-coming bridge engineers who are discovering their own passion for bridges.
For Kris, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing projects he has worked on come to life and be used by those it was meant to serve, especially projects that impact the local community. Kris has contributed to the designs of numerous interchanges in Calgary. Driving around, Kris can see the real, tangible results of his work: a connected city that eases people’s commutes.
Outside of the office, Kris spends time with his family—coaching baseball for his two boys and staying physically active through sports.
