Sabhya's path into building sustainability began with simple questions: why do large buildings consume so much energy, and what would it take to change that? That curiosity led him from earning a mechanical engineering degree at Purdue University to becoming a leader within one of our most technically diverse building analytics practices.
As a senior building analyst, Sabhya leads energy modeling, thermal simulation, and sustainability certification across a range of building types including hyperscale data centers, luxury residential towers, high-rise office developments, and hospitality venues. His data center portfolio spans more than 20 projects ranging from 10 to 96 megawatts across Virginia, Texas, Illinois, and California. These include multiple projects with LEED Gold and Silver certifications as well as the industry’s first compliance framework for chip-level liquid-cooled deployments.
Outside of work, Sabhya finds the same satisfaction in travel and food that he does in a well-converged energy model, preferably somewhere with great street food.
