A geomatics engineer and commissioned land surveyor with more than 20 years of experience, Firas brings a deep understanding of land development processes and municipal and county land use bylaws across Alberta and beyond. He has worked on land surveys, real property reports, condominium surveys, and grading certificates.
In his role as a business center discipline lead, Firas supports technical excellence across regions—including Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary—with a focus on advancing best practices, developing talent, and strengthening the capabilities of our Builder Services group to better respond to evolving client and market needs. He leads a team of specialists who work closely with consultants and clients to deliver accurate, compliant home and lot grading solutions.
Firas is actively engaged in the professional community and has served on committees for the Canadian Home Builders’ Association - Edmonton Region (CHBA‑ER), BILD Edmonton Metro, and the Alberta Land Surveyors’ Association. In 2015, his team was recognized with the CHBA‑ER Excellence in Service Award.
Outside of work, Firas is happily married and a proud father of three. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and listening to music.
