A Denver transplant from Florida, by way of New York City, Danica loves seeing a site and envisioning how it could be improved for the users. By getting involved in the detailed design work, then coordinating with clients to ensure satisfaction, Danica’s able to understand the community’s needs, and flex her creative expression to make an impact.
With a focus on roadway design and improvement projects, Danica is involved in the design and preparation of construction documents related to grading and drainage, signage and striping, utility work, and roadway reconstruction. She often collaborates directly with state agencies like departments of transportation, departments of parks and recreation, and departments of building to implement various urban infrastructure and site development related engineering projects.
Danica also loves getting involved in mentoring—both as a mentee and a mentor. At Stantec, she finds that no matter how busy someone is, her peers always take the time to help her learn and grow.
