Senior Principal, Project Technical Leader

Photo of Brian

Growing up exploring the great outdoors, Brian developed a passion for the environment while backpacking, fishing, and mountain biking. This combined with his love of science led him to engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in water and wastewater plant design, pump station design, and construction administration.

Brian has supported the design and delivery of water systems ranging from 1.5 to 150 million gallons per day (5.7 to 568 megalitres per day). He has also served as a resident engineer assisting with the construction and start-up of facilities. Currently serving as the design manager for the $1.5 billion Alternative Water Source Program, he’s helping the Grand Prairie Water Commission provide a new water source for over 250,000 people in communities west of Chicago. He also served as technical lead for the City of Evanston’s Lake Michigan Raw Water Intake Replacement project to bring water to half a million people.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys reconnecting with nature to reset and recharge, whether it’s lacing up his hiking boots for a trek with his family and their dogs or donning a helmet for a mountain bike adventure.
