Nigel is an operations manager at our Doha office in Qatar with more than 34 years of experience. During this period, he’s worked mostly within the water industry involved in projects related to asset management, business analysis, change management, and project and program management. He’s also held the role of Ofwat (Water Services Regulation Authority) reporter as part of his work in economic regulation.
He’s led major utility business change and delivery programs—including the establishment of Northern Ireland Water’s asset management department, a project that won a UK Utility Achievements award. Nigel is currently working as part of the team responsible for re-engineering Qatar Public Works Authority’s wastewater and roads operations and maintenance departments. He’s also providing strategic advice to the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company in Zambia on an aid-funded capital and technical assistance delivery program.
Nigel received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Glasgow in the UK. He’s a chartered engineer and a fellow of both the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management and the Chartered Management Institute.
