Ray Kesel

Senior Associate, Architect

Photo of Ray

Having spent his career in design and planning, construction, and construction administration, Ray is known for his ability to coordinate between disciplines while creating designs that balance durability, function, and cost. He’s an invaluable partner to his clients, and is committed to turning their visions into reality.

An example of Ray’s work is the Cornell Lake Erie Research and Extension Laboratory in Portland, New York. For this LEED Silver research facility (dedicated entirely to the grape industry), he provided architectural design, coordinated between disciplines, including transportation, civil, and site engineering. He also performed landscape architecture, and oversaw construction—his team took it from programming through to ribbon cutting.

Outside of work, Ray likes to spend time with his family in nature—together, they can be found hunting, fishing, hiking, or horseback riding on his 115-acre farm.
