Kevin’s strong background in mine design and construction management projects makes him the choice to lead our southwest mining infrastructure group. Clients tell him the expertise his team brings to the table is an absolute game changer.
His experience designing, permitting, and managing civil structures across the United States and projects around the world, has led to the growth of Stantec’s mining program in the southwest. With an eye for recruiting and training top talent, Kevin has significantly grown the mining team, approaching a size that is nearly double from 3 years ago. He strives to create growth and autonomy opportunities for all staff within Stantec and encourages active participation in their respective technical communities. Kevin transfers his infectious passion for Stantec to up and coming scientists, engineers, and managers to build with communities in mind.
This mindfulness of community doesn’t just show in his work. When not in the office, Kevin and his family are active stewards in their local community, engaging with multiple charities throughout the year.
