A water resources engineer, Puneet has worked on projects in both Water Resource Integrated Modeling System (WRIMS) and Water Evaluation and Planning (WEAP) environments, two modeling environments that are used to evaluate river basins. He’s also engaged in business development related to water, particularly in energy nexus operations, system risk evaluation, and resilience studies.
Puneet has applied his expertise and research experience in water resources modeling and control optimization to several water projects across the United States. He’s also contributed design optimization to stormwater and water treatment and distribution systems, oil and groundwater remediation, flood control systems, and hydraulic structures.
As someone who spends his time studying and supporting water resources, it’s no surprise that Puneet enjoys the occasional white-water rafting adventure. But on a regular day, in his spare time, you might find him reading nonfiction or bicycling.
