If it can’t be done safely, it shouldn’t be done at all. This is the mindset that David brings to Stantec, welcoming the feat of integrating risk reduction into complex projects. Whether facilitating risk analysis workshops, performing site safety audits, or creating mine designs, he enjoys combining safety with practical designs to create world-class mines of the future.
David applies his learnings from being a field engineer to every facet of his work. His experience spans large mine sites across the US Southwest, from geotechnical work to mine design to optimization studies. David utilizes transparent communication, integrity, and inquisitive self-learning across many roles and responsibilities.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing drums, and turning wrenches in his garage. He aspires one day to get his pilot’s license and to speak Polish fluently—he’s much more confident about the former.
