Finding passion in your work is key, according to David, one of our senior principals of the community development group in Edmonton. His favorite place in Edmonton happens to be his office; this is mainly because of his team, his work, and the fact that he’s part of an industry he’s passionate about. In his position, David draws on his 30-plus years of engineering experience to oversee the management of the technical engineering discipline, and the urban and regulatory planning, and landscape architecture disciplines of the group.
David’s passion outside of work includes going to the Laurier off-leash dog park with his family to walk his two springer-spaniels. He also travels to different cities often to enjoy rock concerts. Although he’s busy, David always finds time for his favorite charity, the Alberta Association of Community Living (AACL), a non-profit federation that advocates on behalf of children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
