From building houses and bridges out of Legos and wooden blocks to spending hours talking with his dad about surveying and engineering, Sean knew early on what career he wanted to pursue. Now, with over 10 years of experience in the water industry, he has worked on projects with small force mains, large tunnels, and everything in between.
At the start of a new project, Sean endeavors to truly understand the background of the project, what results the client expects, and how we can help make their project idea a reality. For example, after a client requested the addition of stormwater improvements in the area of a water/wastewater replacement project, Sean reached out to local stormwater design colleagues. This resulted in the design of a storm drain system that drastically reduced the frequency and severity of flooding in an area prone to chronic flooding.
When he isn’t engineering solutions for water projects, Sean likes to spend time with his family and explore Austin’s many festivals and unique offerings. He is also an active member in our Developing Professionals Group.
