Known as a general site design and development engineer, Chris focuses on grading, erosion control, and site utilities, most specifically water, sewer, and stormwater. He also works on stormwater infiltration, detention, and water quality design and calculations and frequently oversees final site construction. In addition to his work in the field, Chris enjoys mentoring younger engineers and watching them grow into capable engineers themselves.
Recently, his team has completed the design on a four-phase 220-lot subdivision that includes six individual detention ponds connected back-to-back for project conveyance purposes. The entire site involved a submerged storm pipe system that required an intricate hydraulic analysis.
When not working, Chris enjoys hiking and traveling as well as spending as much time as he can with his four children. His youngest son is currently a freshman in college studying to be a civil engineer and, so far, doing well.
