Bringing nearly 30 years of consulting experience, Clay leads transportation projects of all sizes across New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and beyond. Known for his expertise in traffic engineering and highway safety, he has guided hundreds of traffic impact analyses and corridor studies. He’s played a key role in initiatives like the Highway Safety Improvement Program and New Mexico’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan.
Clay thrives on collaboration, innovative problem-solving, and creating safer roadways that help improve lives and mobility. One of his most memorable projects involved working on the US 285 and NM 31 intersection improvements in southeastern New Mexico—showcasing his ability to deliver complex solutions for growing infrastructure needs. He’s also active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers and American Council of Engineering Companies.
When he isn’t working on transportation engineering, Clay enjoys getting outdoors, riding his bike, coaching little league baseball, and chasing his kiddo around.
