Leo has 30 years of professional experience in the Canadian consulting industry, spanning numerous market sectors. He joined Stantec in 2009 to lead the electrical engineering group within our Winnipeg Buildings Engineering practice area. He’s experienced in managing multi-discipline projects and is an award-winning lighting designer.
His past project involvement includes design, specification, and construction supervision of various projects in commercial, residential, public, educational, institutional, and industrial fields. Leo has worked on hospitals, personal care homes, schools, hotels, offices, stores, apartments, water and sewage treatment plants, manufacturing, and processing facilities. One of the recent projects led by Leo—the Winnipeg Pan Am Pool Ceiling, Acoustical, Lighting, and Audio Upgrade—received awards from Association of Consulting Engineering Companies Canada and Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
Outside of work, Leo enjoys travelling, hiking, cycling, and archery. He frequently takes his family on outdoor camping trips and is constantly engaged in various home improvement projects.
