Nathan has 20 years of experience in mechanical design for the manufacturing sector and has worked on numerous projects in both leadership and supporting roles. His fields of expertise include machine design, material handling systems, manufacturing processes, process improvements, pneumatic systems, and how user ergonomics and safety considerations impact solutions.
With a comprehensive knowledge of Solidworks as well as 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Nathan’s experience with finite element analysis (FEA), motion analysis, and their practical applications has enabled him to successfully design and fabricate projects. His more notable accomplishments include work as a project manager on the RB-S Modular Egress Training Simulator (METS) and H-6 METS where he managed a design team to develop small boat and helicopter training simulators for Survival Systems Ltd.
