As a civil and environmental engineer, Satej designs and delivers water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump and lift stations, storage tanks, pipelines and associated infrastructure for utilities across North America. He has a strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems, biological processes, conveyance systems, hydraulics, and linear infrastructure.
Satej blends expertise in technical design with a keen awareness of client needs and municipal requirements, enabling him to collaborate and delivery effective solutions for municipalities throughout British Columbia and North America. His experience extends to working with organizations such as Metro Vancouver, the City of Maple Ridge, the City of Delta, City of Kelowna, City of Prince George and the City of Chilliwack among others. Beyond technical engineering and project management, Satej leads the Process and Process Mechanical team within Stantec’s Water Group in British Columbia. He is also a dedicated advocate for community engagement, actively serving as chair of the Young Professionals committee for the British Columbia Water and Waste Association (BCWWA).
Outside of engineering efficient treatment and conveyance solutions, Satej enjoys reading, being outdoors, traveling, and trying different cuisines from around the world.
