Andy is a mechanical engineer with considerable experience in the design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of various mechanical systems. These include desalination, water and wastewater treatment plants, process skid design, piping, water storage facilities, intake design, and pumping station projects. He has worked for global and Australian clients. As well as working in the water industry, he has also operated in the municipal, civil applications (railway and highway), oil and gas, and power industries.
With a solid understanding of relevant industry standards, Andy recently worked on a water consortium, leading a team of mechanical engineers to deliver a program of design and construct projects for a key client in Sydney. He likes his work because it allows him to collaborate with various people and create technical solutions with sustainability in mind.
When he isn’t busy managing the mechanical engineering aspects of a project, you’ll find Andy cooking and jogging in the field.
