With more than two decades of experience, Brendan has expertise in water and wastewater engineering, urban renewal, and transportation infrastructure. He believes that successful project delivery relies on thoughtful collaboration and integrating multiple disciplines, combining technical skills with environmental stewardship. He’s passionate about continuous professional development and passing on skills and knowledge to colleagues.
Brendan has managed major water and wastewater network projects throughout Ireland, and in London, Qatar, and Melbourne. He has designed new greenway and active travel developments in Limerick, Cork, Roscommon, Wexford, and Longford. One of his most memorable projects involved producing a peer review report of the Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and a draft construction schedule for the proposed Water Supply Pipeline Eastern and Midlands Region project—between the Parteen basin in County Tipperary and a proposed reservoir in Peamount, County Dublin.
Away from his work, Brendan enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth football players with his local club, running, and cycling. He also likes travelling and attending music gigs and festivals.
